About our program....
Our program is a complete musical program for children K-12. It includes chorus, piano and handbell choir.
During chorus they learn proper vocal production in a setting that is more like group vocal instruction. Our piano class is unique. Unlike classes with keyboards and headphones, our class more resembles "keyboard band." The students play piano quartets and ensembles as a group from graded books that teach technique and note reading as well. During handbell choir they learn music theory and rhythmic reading. Handbells make learning music fun and exciting! Their faces light up each week because of their new found abilities!
For many years parents have understood that musical education teaches much more than just music, for instance, they also learn diligence and persistence. We have developed the Explorations in Music program in order to give your child a well rounded musical experience and a well rounded character as well.

As part of the Explorations in Music classes the students will memorize Bible verses, study hymns, learn to present the message of salvation to the lost and have lessons in character development. This is in addition to their musical studies as mentioned above. They will need parental guidance and encouragement in these areas to get the most from their time as Explorers. To this end, there are also weekly forms for parents to help guide and instruct their children at home.
I have developed a curriculum specifically for our conservatory that will ensure both you and your child know exactly what will be done exch week. It is divided into weekly units. Each contains the following:
